The Haydon Switch size 17, 0.9 degree actuator has been specially engineered to deliver high speed, force and endurance.

The Haydon Switch size 17, 0.9 degree (400step/rev) actuator available from UK agent Servotechnic has been specially engineered to deliver high speed, force and endurance.

It features a production proven, patent pending rotor drive nut that delivers trouble free, long term performance.

Combined with a stainless steel leadscrew, the motor delivers an extremely smooth, precise motion.

The unit has been designed for applications requiring long life, reliability, precise positioning and rapid motion.

The unit is available in captive, noncaptive and external linear variations with options of 2.33, 5 and 1 V DC windings.

Linear travel options range from 0.0015 to 0.0487mm per motor step.

The thrust force available from the actuator is in excess of 200N (recommended limit) making it a very compact solution for high force applications.

Application areas include printing machines, robotics, semiconductor, office machinery and laboratory automation.
