Servo actuator handles large loads

MCS has an acknowledged track record of designing and manufacturing brushless motors and controllers that achieve phenomenally low nonrepeatable runout, repeatable runout and torque ripple, which are especially significant to high precision applications, such as high speed spindle applications.
Typical speed ranges are from a few thousand revolutions per minute, to upwards of 30,000-40,000rev/min.
Tests by precision spindle manufacturers of the MCS LA2000 Model 62 servo amplifier, optimised with a low vibration B06 frame size brushless motor, have demonstrated improvement of radial runout from 25nm to better than 2nm.
The LA2000 Model 62 is a high performance linear amplifier with a high bandwidth, very low distortion sinewave output.
The B06 (2.5in OD) frame size brushless motors include an available configuration that is specifically optimised for low vibration operation.
Other frame sises are also available with this configuration.
Engineering support is readily available to provide optimised motors and drives for precision motion requirements.
Applications include air bearing spindles, dicing machines, hard disc test stands and high precision laboratory automation etc.
