The Lin Engineering 3509V stepper motor offers considerably smoother motion than similar motors in the market.

The Lin Engineering 3509V stepper motor available from UK agent Servotechnic offers considerably smoother motion than similar motors in the market.

The size 14, 0.9 degree motor is available with both NEMA 14 and 17 mountings with a total of five different mounting configurations in all.

Accuracy is to +/-1.5arc-min and standard winding options are 1.2, 0.8 or 0.6A per phase (other windings are available) with 113mNm of holding torque.

Lin Engineering stepper motors have smooth motion because of their high accuracy.

The 3509V and 3609V 0.9 degree steppers have a step error of only +/-1.5arc-min at 1/64 microstepping.

The average stepper motor step error is +/-4.5arc-min at 1/64 microstepping.

When you have three times less step error you have smoother motion.

Competitive pricing for volume applications make these motors ideally suited for applications such as office automation, labelling machinery, CCTV and laboratory automation where smooth motion is critical.
