Servo actuator handles large loads
The hollow shaft PowerHub is a compact servo actuator with a centre through hole and the precision and repeatability of a zero backlash gear.
Ranging from 15 to 46mm diameter, they have linear forces from 3 to 260N.
Travel per step options are from 20 to 400um depending on frame size.
Various winding configurations are available allowing design engineers to integrate the products into applications where existing electronics are to be used.
Customised versions are also available and details such as the addition of connectors or encoders and limit switches are also included in the catalogue.
Additions to the catalogue include the LC15 miniature actuator, claimed to be the smallest commercially available.
Measuring 15mm diameter this actuator has a stroke of about 14mm and is suitable for applications in scientific and medical instrumentation.
The rotary stepper products have also been expanded within the catalogue to include details on the compact range of pancake motors.
Offered as direct drive and geared rotary models, the low profile, high torque products are under 1.27cm thick (direct drive).
Geared variants are available with 4:1 or 6:1 ratios along with various winding options.
A complementary range of drives is also featured including the DCM Microstepping range and 40105 chopper drive.
Industries using the products in their applications include medical, optical, robotics and surveillance.
