17 April 2009 - Saft's UK manufacturing facility in South Shields has won a Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety for 2008 from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
This is the third successive year that the South Shields facility in Tyne and Wear, where Saft produces primary lithium batteries for industrial and military applications, has received this award.
