A new series of flexible helical couplings feature one-piece anodised aluminium construction with set screw type or integral clamp split-hub type designs for fastening to both shafts.

A new series of inch and metric flexible helical couplings from Sterling Instrument feature one-piece anodised aluminium construction with set screw type or integral clamp split-hub type designs for fastening to both shafts.

They have the ability to adapt to both high- and low-speed applications with a high level of fatigue resistance.

Their angular misalignment compensation is 5 degrees, with a maximum parallel offset range of 0.25mm, and an axial motion range of 0.25mm.

Identified as the S50HAWM (metric) and S50HAA (inch) Series, they are designed to fit shafts ranging in diameter from 3 to 12mm in metric and 0.09375 to 0.5in in inch sizes.

Their OD ranges from 15 to 30mm in metric and 0.375 to 1.125in in inch.

Lengths are available from 22 to 38mm and from 0.375 to 1.5in.
