Handbook of inch drive components
The process of selecting small inch size drive components for new prototypes or production applications just became easier.
The screws, known as the MD0912MQB and MD0912MXO series are offered in both grade 12.9, black oxide high tensile steel, and type 304 stainless steel; and feature controlled concentricity between head and body.
The pitch diameter and thread fit are checked on functional and pure pitch dimension gauges to ensure consistent quality control.
The MD0912MQBM series are also available in a dry molybdenum disulphide coated version, ideal for use on aluminium where repeated tightening and loosening tend to gall the threaded hole.
They conform to DIN standard 912 and are stocked for off-the-shelf delivery in thread sizes Ml.6, M2, M2.5, M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8.
Lengths range from 3 to 70mm.
Prices start at just $11.70 per 100 pieces for M4 cap screws, 8mm long.
