A new series of 99 precision ground off-the shelf metric shafts is designed for instrument and light machinery applications.

The gradual US conversion to metric has been simplified with the introduction of an expanded series of 99 precision ground off-the shelf metric shafts designed for instrument and light machinery applications.

The shafts are offered in a total of nine precut lengths which range from 25 to 500mm, and in 11 diameters from 2 to 12mm.

303 stainless steel is used for the precision shafts, identified as the A 7X lM series.

They feature a finish of 0.25um and a straightness factor of 0.0003mm/mm.
