A new series of 24V DC antibacklash brakes feature zero drag when de-energised.

A new series of 24V DC antibacklash brakes from Sterling Instrument feature zero drag when de-energised These seven flange-mounted brakes, identified as the S90BF9 Series, range in static torque ratings from 0.56 to 14Nm

Nominal resistance ranges from 43 to 128ohm.

Maximum power ranges from 5 to 15W.

The bore size ranges from 0.25 to 0.75in and incorporates a keyway.
