Sterling Instrument helical couplings adapt to both high and low-speed applications with a high level of fatigue resistance.

A new series of from Sterling Instrument has released inch and metric flexible helical couplings that feature one-piece anodised aluminium construction with a set screw type or integral clamp split-hub type designs for fastening to both shafts They have the ability to adapt to both high and low-speed applications with a high level of fatigue resistance

Their angular misalignment compensation is 5 degrees, with a maximum parallel offset range of 0.25mm and an axial motion range of 0.25mm.

The S50HAWM (metric) and S50HAA (inch) series are designed to fit shafts ranging in diameter from 3 to 12mm in metric and 3/32 to half-inch sizes.

Their outside diameters range from 15 to 30mm in metric and 3/8 to 1-1/8 in inches.

Lengths are available from 22 to 38mm and from 3/8 to 1-1/2 inches.
