A new laser sighted non-contact temperature probe from SKF makes monitoring the temperature of bearings and other moving parts of a machine simple and safe.

A new laser sighted non-contact temperature probe from SKF makes monitoring the temperature of bearings and other moving parts of a machine simple and safe.

The user just points and shoots at the part being monitored and the laser guide enables the probe to be sighted at exactly the point to be measured.

There is no need to make contact with hot surfaces or moving parts and the temperature reading is accurately displayed on a large, legible, back-lit LCD.

The probe measures from -32C to +500C and can be used to calculate minimum, maximum, differential and average temperatures.

High and low alarms can also be set.
