SKF's Combi Kit TMMK 10-30 for mounting and dismounting bearings is designed for users of smaller bearings such as motorcycle sales and repair shops, maintenance companies and motor rewinders

SKF has launched the Combi Kit TMMK 10-30 for mounting and dismounting bearings.

This new kit is designed for users of smaller bearings such as motorcycle sales and repair shops, maintenance companies and motor rewinders.

This new Combi Kit consists of 50 components and is designed for mounting and dismounting bearings with a bore diameter of between 10mm and 30mm.

For mounting, the kit includes 21 impact rings, two high strength aluminium sleeves and a dead-blow hammer with nylon faces.

For dismounting, the kit includes two high strength screws, five different sized puller arms, a puller handle, a slide hammer and pull rings.

The SKF Combi Kit offers users of relatively small bearings an alternative to the larger, more costly kits.

These include pullers for both small and large bearings, the latter often being left unused.

A multi purpose-fitting tool that is suitable for mounting bearings, bushings, seal rings, belt pulleys and similar products is included.

For dismounting, the kit includes a three-armed SKF puller that can be used for deep groove ball bearings, with an interference fit on both rings, or on the outer-ring without a shaft.

All parts are clearly arranged and colour coded.

They come in a transport case that includes a selection chart and instruction drawings.

The pullers are high tensile steel alloy and are equipped with hinged arms for grip on the bearing and an elastic locking ring for easy connection to the pulling arms to the spindle.

The fitting tools included in the kit eliminate impact damage to the bearings during the mounting.

The impact surfaces of the tool and rings included in the kit are made of super tough acetal resin that ensures mechanical strength and compact fatigue at a very low weight.

In addition the fibreglass handle on the hammer ensures a safe, ergonomic, grip that absorbs shock and protects against vibration.
