SKF now becomes the second largest manufacturer of electric actuators and actuation systems in the world.
This is of major benefit to the UK market, where SKF Engineering Products (SKF's linear division in the UK) will now be able to offer complete system solutions.
The Magnetic Group, with 370 employees, has an annual turnover of GBP 31.5 million and is headquartered at Liestal, Switzerland.
