SKF has acquired Rolling Stock Supply and Service (RSSS), one of the leading railway bearing service companies in Australia RSSS is a major supplier of new and reconditioned wheel set bearings and axle boxes for railway rolling stock in the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets

RSSS was established in 1988 and has annual sales of around GBP 4.5 million.

It has modern workshop facilities in both Western Australia and Victoria.

One of its key services is a mobile, on-site technical service which includes a wheel set bearing removal service, technical service training and trackside assistance for its customers.

SKF is the leading rolling bearing supplier to the world railway industry, providing a full assortment of bearing related products and services for all types of railway vehicles such as freight cars, locomotives, multiple units and high-speed vehicles.
