Stabilus and SKF EP are currently in the process of raising their levels of customer service and support in what is a rapidly expanding industrial sector.
Their latest offering - the new Rapid Fill gas spring service - has been designed to meet customer demands for short lead times.
Products can be dispatched within five working days, subject to availability.
It is envisaged that the most popular types of gas spring purchased through the Rapid Fill scheme will be 19/8 (cylinder diameter/piston rod) range, offering a working range between 100-600N and the 15/6 range that offers a 50 to 400N working range.
Ball/socket- and eyelet-type fittings will be available for all major industrial applications.
The new service will be particularly useful to those working in prototyping and development, small-scale production and maintenance replacement.
Typical industries to benefit will be the food, medical and healthcare, leisure, furniture and general mechanical engineering.
