SKF Engineering Products has introduced a comprehensive range of compact linear slides for use in a wide range of handling, positioning and linear motion applications The linear slides are supplied as basic single carriage guides and in powered versions with twin slide options and a variety of bearing configurations, including roller guides and profile rail guides, pneumatic cylinders and even linear motors

Ten models make up the range, each with numerous variants according to size, speed, load and accuracy considerations.

The modular nature of the products allows them to be mixed and matched to build complete multi-axis systems for robotics gantries, pick and place applications and special purpose machinery of all kinds.

At the top of the performance range are linear actuators that can be powered by pneumatic cylinders or noncontact linear motors for the ultimate speed and acceleration performance with almost zero maintenance.

All the units feature high rigidity and mechanical stiffness that delivers excellent repeatability and accuracy.
