Larger balls produce more capacity
High load capacity achieved by using larger balls than standard ball screws, combined with high precision shaft and nut assemblies.
To bridge the gap between conventional ball screws and precision roller screws, High Load ball screws from SKF are environmentally sound for applications where hydraulic or pneumatic driving systems might previously have been specified For use where standard ball screws have insufficient load carrying capacity, but where the high acceleration and deceleration capabilities of precision roller screws are not needed, these ball screws are available in ten sizes for use with static loads up to 3320kN
The load capacity is achieved by using larger balls than standard ball screws, combined with high precision shaft and nut assemblies.
Applications include tube-bending, lifting and handling machines.
They are suitable for use in bespoke special-purpose equipment where, compared with hydraulic and pneumatic methods, they simplify design and construction. Request a free brochure from SKF UK ...
