Transmitter gets the measure of machine vibration
Compact, easy-to-install transmitter offers continuous monitoring of machinery health for a minimal investment.
SKF Reliability Systems announces the release of the CMSS 420VT a loop powered vibration transmitter.
This compact, easy-to-install transmitter offers continuous monitoring of machinery health for a minimal investment.
The CMSS 420VT provides customers the scaleable option to expand from a stand-alone transmitter with an LED display to an extensive online system that can be interfaced to a control system.
"The cost advantage of this vibration transmitter, compared with others available in the market today, make this an excellent choice for facilities looking for continuous machine condition monitoring in an economic, easy-to-use solution", says Torsten Bark, SKF Reliability Systems Product Line Manager.
"The installation of the CMSS 420VT simply requires mounting the transmitter directly on the measurement location on rotating machinery".
"By connecting two wires you are ready to start transmitting data to your control system for an ultra-low-cost online system".
By adding the bright LED digital display to the top of the CMSS 420VT, vibration readings are instantly visible.
Additionally the buffered output is available for connection to the SKF Microlog Series data collector/analyser for detailed machine fault analysis.
