Centralised lubrication system suits
remote areas
SKF's MultiPoint LAGD 1000 is quick and simple to install, and can be used to feed up to twenty lubrication points from a single unit
SKF has released its latest MultiPoint LAGD 1000 centralised lubrication system, which has been developed to provide cost-effective and reliable lubrication in remote areas of the factory environment where a local power supply is unavailable or inaccessible The new battery-powered system is quick and simple to install, and can be used to feed up to twenty lubrication points from a single unit, operating with a high-pressure pump and progressive divider under a time-dependant mechanism

Seals boost food production safey
SKF Economos' new seals can be quickly and simply found with standard metal detection equipment should any small pieces fall into the product being processed.
The system can help end users achieve a longer machine service life and extended lubrication intervals, as well as maximum machine availability as a result of fewer breakdowns and improved operational reliability.
The multi-point lubricating unit is a fully programmable automatic system that is capable of delivering greases from NLGI 000 up to NLGI grade 2, combined with a control device that automatically manages dispensing rates.
A cycle switch function and empty container alarm alerts the end user of risks associated with lack of lubrication and blocked outlets, maintaining mechanical components in working order for longer periods of time.
The result is increased uptime, lower maintenance and operating costs, and greater machine reliability.
In addition, the unit features a large, transparent one litre refillable reservoir, which allows visual monitoring of lubricant level and extends re-filling intervals, while the progressive divider ensures that exactly the same quantity of grease reaches each lubricant point.
The system has been developed for use in a wide range of applications including conveyor systems, electric motors, pumps, and fan drives.
The portable LAGD 1000 is quick and simple to fill and can reduce the chances of manual mistakes or accidental spillage, providing greater operator health and safety. Request a free brochure from SKF UK ...
