Linear actuators offer low cost and bulk

The Jaeger AC-series of linear actuators from SKF is offered in a choice of six basic models, with load capacities from 2 to 5kN push and pull

Designed for direct operation from nominal 115V and 230V single-phase AC supplies, the latest Jaeger AC-series linear actuators from SKF are a versatile and economical choice for applications where low-voltage operation is not needed, and where eliminating the cost and bulk of a DC power supply unit is beneficial AC-series actuators are offered in a choice of six basic models, with load capacities from 2 to 5kN push and pull, and they can be supplied with stroke lengths from 100 to 600mm

All models are available with clevis, tube or square mounting arrangements.

This makes them easy to accommodate in all types of equipment, from treadmills for use in the healthcare sector, to handling and positioning systems for use in industry.

With a proven acme-screw based design and robust die-cast gearboxes, AC-series actuators offer long reliable service lives without the need for maintenance.

They are rated for a 10% duty cycle, and their motors are fitted, as standard, with thermal protection to guard against overheating.

The units carry both UL and CSA approvals.

All actuators in the range feature integrated limit switches to indicate when the end of travel has been reached, and they can optionally be fitted, during manufacture, with potentiometers to provide positional information.

A variety of convenient electrical connection options are available, and AC-series actuators are fully compatible with the SKF's Jaeger CB400 AC motor controllers.

These can be used with either four or six-button handsets to give users full and convenient control, whatever the application. Request a free brochure from SKF UK ...
