Responding to global demand for metric sizes of its locknut that is capable of maximum holding power, Security Locknut has developed the product in sizes M10 - M52.

Responding to increased global demand for metric sizes of its innovative locknut that is capable of maximum holding power and able to be removed and reused many times over, Security Locknut has developed the product in sizes M10 - M52.

Previously offered in select metric sizes only, this unique locknut has found application in mining, material processing, rail, off-road/heavy vehicle and equipment, amusement rides, construction, presses, turbines, and cylinders_applications where shock, vibration, stress, or environmental conditions cause fastener failure or periodic maintenance requires reusability or safety.

With the superior locking performance delivered by its proprietary, elliptical spring steel locking concept, the Security Locknut radially locks onto a bolt or mating shaft making it absolutely vibration and shock proof.

Using the Security Locknut eliminates the need for traditional fastening systems like double nuts, serrated fasteners, flex-type or distorted, pin and nylon insert locknuts that fail, time after time or costly, unnecessary processes such as wire-tying or welding.

Installation and removal requires no special tools.

Only a standard torque wrench or ratchet is all that is needed.

The Security Locknut product is heat-resistant to 750degF (395C), offered in Coarse and Fine pitch metric sizes compatible with Class 8.8 or Class 10.9 bolts.

Heavy and Jam styles are available.

American Standard Finished and Heavy Hex pattern sizes in UNC and UNF threads and customs, too.
