Submersible transducer ignores
temperature changes
The Model 595 is a digitally compensated submersible pressure transducer.
New from Setra Systems, the Model 595 is a digitally compensated submersible pressure transducer The Model 595's integral specific gravity compensation gives a true level reading even when subjected to media temperature changes over the range -5 to +45C, making this unit ideal for groundwater monitoring, sewer flow monitoring, storm water studies, stream flow monitoring, infiltration/inflow studies, pump tests, irrigation, flood warning, sea level, tide and wave monitoring applications

Pressure transducer suits tight spaces
The 3100 series pressure transducer employs highly accurate thin film technology and a custom designed ASIC offering exceptional performance with accuracy to 0.25% full-scale.
The Model 595 has 318 stainless steel wetted parts, which makes it resistant to corrosion and ideal for long term submersible operation.
Its custom-designed hermetic header guarantees that water cannot enter the transducer even if the cable sheath is damaged.
Rapid venting is achieved through the large bore vent tube connected directly to the back of the sensor.
The sensor is resistant to the effects of humidity, which can cause condensation.
The Model 595 is offered with choice of two-wire 4-20mA (for use with noncommunicating data recorders), SDI-12 4-20mA, RS485 or SDI-12 output.
The SDI-12 communication version offers minimal current draw for battery powered operation.
The SDI-12 and RS485 versions allow remote calibration via the cable by means of a PC or a handheld interface.
This reduces the installation time and eliminates the need to withdraw the unit from the media for calibration.
Offered in gauge pressure ranges from 5 to 40mWG, the 595 has a total error band of less then +/-0.1% over the compensated temperature range of -5 to +45C, and an operating temperature of -25 to +70C.
The pressure port is a G0.25in at external thread with nosecone, and the electrical termination is a polyurethane cable.
The 318SS enclosure is rated IP68 to 200mWG.
Setra Systems is a designer, developer and manufacturer of high accuracy electronic instrumentation, which measures pressure, acceleration, and weight.
Setra's products are used by many process and manufacturing industries, federal agencies, and research laboratories.
In addition, all of Setra's pressure transducers are CE compliant.
