Saft, Alcatel's battery activity, has acquired Hawker Eternacell, part of Invensys plc's Power Systems Division, manufacturer of primary lithium batteries for military and industrial applications
Saft, Alcatel's battery activity, has acquired Hawker Eternacell, part of Invensys plc's Power Systems Division Hawker Eternacell has two manufacturing facilities, one in South Shields in the UK and one in New Jersey in the US, for a total turnover of approximately £24 million

The company manufactures primary lithium batteries for military and industrial applications worldwide, and these activities will be integrated into Saft's Specialty Battery Group.
