3Soft, which specialises in developing control and service software for safety-critical applications, is the latest company to join the SafetyBUS p Club International
Founded in 1988, 3Soft ranks today with the leading providers of software for the embedded systems market.
The company is particularly active in developing control and service software for safety-critical applications.
The main focus is in the automotive, medical equipment and automation areas.
In March 2004 3Soft became part of the Elektrobit Group and is presently one of the strongest growth companies of its kind in Europe.
As well as a head office in Erlangen, 3Soft maintains branches in Braunschweig, Stuttgart, Detroit and Tokyo in order to be able to offer to its customers the best service directly.
For several years 3Soft has worked successfully on establishing standard components within its Embedded range, and the company also develops applications that require the highest safety specification.
3Soft leads its more advanced customers through the entire software development process, from specification and the first draft through implementation and test to integration and maintenance.
With its tresos configuration tool, 3Soft offers an integrated way of developing control units.
This open, OSEK-compatible configuration platform not only lets a developer add special tools, it also automatically guarantees the consistency of all data at the same time.
In addition, with X-by-Wire and Infotainment technologies 3Soft is actively advancing innovations; for instance, its TimeCore development environment for error-tolerant, synchronous and time-driven solutions and Guide, a tool for the specification of HMIs with integrated speech dialogue.
In the future 3Soft will use its additional knowledge to create safety-related applications and automation systems using SafetyBUS p.
Into the partnership with SafetyBUS p Club International, 3Soft brings its proven embedded software and also a broad range of services.
Together with the high-quality electronic components from 3Soft's parent company Electrobit, this will enable a fast move from discrete to micro-controller-based solutions using SafetyBUS p.
These software products will thereby become more attractive to the market.
