Autec, a privately-owned company based in Vicenza, Italy, has joined the SafetyBUS p Club International.
Autec, a privately-owned company based in Vicenza, Italy, has joined the SafetyBUS p Club International.
Autec is an ISO9001 certified company employing about 100 people.
In over 18 years of research, development, application and service dedicated to industrial radio remote controls, Autec has gained a vast experience in high-performance and safety-certified products even for the harshest working environments.
The first principle of Autec's mission statement is: 'safety without compromise: we want to promote and share the culture of safety'.
'Any decision we make must aim at the highest protection both of working people and of their machinery'.
The company made the following statement.
We have recognised similar purposes in the Statute of SafetyBUS p Club International and have envisaged the positive impact that our association with the Club would have on our company, on our common customers and hopefully on the Club itself.
We believe in programmes the objective of which are to set standards to ease implementation of proven safety measures and, in this respect, SafetyBUS p Club is certainly a significant model.
We are likely to develop SafetyBUS p technology for our products in the near future.
Furthermore, joining the Club represents for us a valuable opportunity to learn from the high-profile club members and to share information and common experiences.
As a matter of fact, we are willing to make our competence on safe wireless communication available to the partners of the club interested in our products and services.
Autec designs and manufactures fail-safe radio control systems for electrical and hydraulic powered lifting machinery in a wide range of applications for the industrial, building and mobile sectors.
The safety certifications of Autec products meet the requirements of category 3 and category 4 of European Standard EN 954-1.
Product testing, certification and the continuous verification of the design and production processes are carried out by TUV Automotive (of TUV Sued-Munich) according to the latest functional-safety, electrical and environmental standards.
All the electronic modules used by Autec undergo custom-designed automatic functional tests in extreme environmental conditions.
Besides the lifting industry, the automotive industry is showing an increasing interest in Autec's products and services.
