The member companies of the SafetyBUS p Club International eV have agreed a change of statutes and a renaming of the SafetyBUS p Club International eV as the Safety Network International eV

The member companies of the SafetyBUS p Club International eV have agreed a change of statutes and a renaming of the SafetyBUS p Club International eV as the Safety Network International eV on 23 April 2006 during an extraordinary general assembly on the eve of the Factory Automation event in Hanover This step has become necessary to include the new ethernet-based system SafetyNET p besides SafetyBUS p within the objectives and tasks of the organisation

The Board of Directors encouraged this change of statutes in the beginning of 2006 and the General Assembly agreed to this application.

For this reason an fundamental step was implemented for the affiliation of additional communication systems.

Safety Network International will continue on the basis of the good experiences made with technology transfer and interface implementation of SafetyBUS p.

Additional services for the implementation of SafetyBUS p and SafetyNET p will be offered in the future.

Safety Network International will still be an open forum for users and manufacturers.

No changes in human resources were made.

The Board of Directors have been confirmed in their post.
