The company IBF and CO KEG joined the Safety Network International in March 2006.

IBF's core competence lies in supporting manufacturers with the most efficient method for carrying out the CE-marking of plant and machinery.

A central factor is the software system Safexpert.

The phase module software which has been specially developed by IBF for the CE-marking of plant and machinery enables an optimal work and document flow.

The intuitive user interface leads step by step to CE conformity.

This highly efficient system assists the user while carrying out his highly responsible work and supports him in managing the extensive technical safety know-how which then helps to reduce costs.

An additional software module which is integrated into the systems solution is the "Check and Acceptance Assistant".

This module simplifies the task of accepting and commissioning plant, machinery and other products, and is of particular use to manufacturers, quality control departments, safety officials, notified bodies, insurance organisations and others.

These extremely successful innovations as well as the continuous development of the individual components of the IBF Safety management - systems have led to a new standard with regards to safety project management.

In 1995, Safexpert was the first CE-software to be introduced to the German speaking market.

Additionally, IBF runs CE-seminars and conferences with the long term goal of teaching businesses how to provide themselves with self-help in the field of CE marking.

IBF stands for high quality and competent Know-how.

The ability to develop new ideas and to use them consequently forms a key strategic role within the company.
