A new version of a popular, low cost flow monitor features integral electronics providing 4-20mA analogue and 200-1000Hz frequency output signals, for direct connection to an indicator unit
Solartron Mobrey is launching a new version of the popular, low cost, robust, Eletta flow monitor.
The R-Series features integral electronics providing 4-20mA analogue and 200-1000Hz frequency output signals, for direct connection to an indicator unit or computerised plant supervisory system.
The new flow monitor allows processors to track changes in flow, for preventative maintenance and trending, rather than just on/off alarm.
Output signals can be used to provide remote indication of flow and flow totals.
R-Series is not designed for high accuracy measurement, but is ideal for high reliability flow monitoring applications such as in cooling and lubricating circuits, antifreeze and dry-out protection circuits and start/stop pump control duties.
Its low cost, easy installation and hard-wearing, integral construction make it a highly cost-effective option.
The Eletta range of sharp-edged orifice plate flow monitors is known for its reliable operation even in difficult conditions.
The robust IP65 housing means the unit can be used for flow monitoring in ambient temperatures of up to 65C, pressures up to 16bar and with process fluids of up to 500cp viscosity.
Each unit comes complete with an integral threaded or flanged pipe section, for direct installation into the process pipe, so there is no need for extra carriers or meter runs.
Pipe sections are available in bronze, copper alloy or stainless steel as standard, and in special materials on request, for wide process compatibility.
