A new Windows-based package simplifies the setup of Hart instruments.
A new Windows-based package from Solartron Mobrey simplifies the setup of Hart instruments.
Mobrey CONF401 allows configuration, calibration and interrogation from a PC or Unix workstation for efficient instrument installation and maintenance management.
The new software is designed for use with Solartron Mobrey's popular MSP range of Hart-compatible ultrasonic noncontact level transmitters.
It supports both single instrument installations and complete multidrop networks, so that users have just one easy-to-learn programming tool for all their Hart network management needs.
Mobrey CONF401 features a straightforward "fill in the blanks" configuration screen for quick and easy setup.
The screen presented for each device includes a complete set of controls for that device.
User controls are consistent, so no device-specific training is required.
In addition, use of the Hart Universal Common Practise Command Set allows communication with Hart instruments from other manufacturers.
To save time, especially on large sites with multiple, similar instruments, configurations can be entered offline and saved for future use.
The software includes a range of trending and graphics functions for the monitoring of instrumentation over time.
Data are stored in ASCII format and can easily be exported to widely used programs such as Excel or Word, for further analysis or presentation.
Mobrey CONF401 is currently available in English, German and Portuguese.
It is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 2000 and XP, Microsoft NT and Unix.
