Converting CAD drawings into motion profiles
CAD to Motion from SmartDrive is a new piece of software that will take any CAD drawing that is in DXF file format and provide a list of moves for a stepper or servo controller program.
The top model in the range, the OEM-DM80, can provide up to 8A output current at a resolution of 51,200 microsteps per revolution with a step rate of 2MHz, creating smooth motion at up to 8Nm shaft torque for the most challenging applications.
For less demanding applications, the compact OEM-DMM15-LW offers up to 1600step/rev in a 100 x 62 x 21mm package that weighs only 150g.
These robust units are capable of driving stepper motors of 17, 23 and 34 frame size.
For ease of installation and commissioning, all units feature user-selectable variable current output control, status outputs, and panel-mountable housings with demountable connectors.
All units in the range carry CE approval.
