The series CRJ rack-and-pinion-type mini rotary actuator has been designed to be the strongest and smallest unit available on the market.

The series CRJ rack-and-pinion-type mini rotary actuator has been designed to be the strongest and smallest unit available on the market.

The low profile, narrow body and compact size are achieved by using a small bore, single piston.

Backlash is eliminated and high rigidity is attained by the inclusion of a large roller bearing and a large diameter output shaft.

The compact body not only reduces the overall size, but also achieves space saving with standard wiring and piping options which can be organised around the preferred mounting position.

The CRJ is available in two sizes, 05 and 1, and as a basic model, or a version with an external stopper for angle adjustment (+/-5deg at each rotation end).

With the external stopper the unit enables four to five times allowable kinetic energy than the basic version.

For industries such as semiconductor processing, the CRJ is well suited for the turning and mounting of small parts and handling of small, delicate components because of design features which provide overall compactness, with high rigidity and reduced backlash.
