of gravity
SMC's series MY2H mechanically jointed rodless cylinder has been designed to save space within the mounting height, without sacrificing load capacity.
SMC's series MY2H mechanically jointed rodless cylinder has been designed to save space within the mounting height, without sacrificing load capacity Compared with existing MY1 series the low profile is achieved by placing the guide unit and cylinder body next to one another, reducing the height by around 30% (between 12 and 26mm)

Pneumatics at heart of bearing assembly system
Precision pneumatic controls from SMC Pneumatics are at the heart of innovative new automatic assembly systems, designed for Sarnatech BNL to make bearing assemblies
It is available as the MY2H with single axis guide, or the MY2HT with double axis guide, without any sacrifice on height.
Shock absorbers and centralised piping are standard features, with the choice of two sides for mounting auto switches.
The load weight of the MY2HT series is between 15 and 80kg, and allowable moment is between 6 and 220Nm, depending on application and unit specified.
In addition, the innovative design allows the cylinder body to be quickly and easily replaced - this is done by removing four mounting bolts and the body will easily slide out, leaving the work piece and guide unit in situ.
Thus reducing downtime.
Bore sizes range from 16 to 40mm on each model, together with standard strokes of between 50 and 600mm, other stroke sizes can be manufactured to order, and these are available in 1mm increments up to a maximum stroke of 1500mm, depending on model.
This unit is ideal for applications such as conveying devices such as pick and place, for the movement of delicate electronic and electrical products.
