Compact table packs a long stroke
The new space-saving MXY air slide table is designed for use in pick and place applications where footprint space is limited, but long stroke lengths and high accuracy are needed.
The new space-saving MXY air slide table is designed for use in pick and place applications where footprint space is limited, but long stroke lengths and high accuracy are a prerequisite for the placing of small components The unit is made up of a magnetically coupled rodless cylinder, with a built-in rigid linear guidance system, with recirculating linear ball bearings and, depending upon bore size (6, 8 or 12mm), stroke lengths up to 400mm

Pneumatics at heart of bearing assembly system
Precision pneumatic controls from SMC Pneumatics are at the heart of innovative new automatic assembly systems, designed for Sarnatech BNL to make bearing assemblies
The MXY has been developed to reduce the problems normally associated with guide block deflection at stop.
And this is reduced to a minimum, by having the stroke adjuster placed centrally within the guide block, allowing for accurate stroke adjustment, using either rubber or metal stoppers or standard shock absorbers.
There are various piping options at either end, including lateral and axial together with centralised, allowing for applications in very narrow areas.
There are also three options of auto switch: two-colour solid state, standard solid state and reed.
