The company's service includes safety consultancy and CE marking - risk assessment, from a single machine to a complete factory, control system validation from initial design to the final commissioning, Machinery Directive and Safety Standards advice plus training courses to suit the customer's particular requirements.
CE marking covers all aspects of the CE marking process including risk assessment, standards and Machinery Directive compliance, technical file writing and the declaration of conformity.
Smartscan designs and manufactures systems to meet the particular needs of the customer's safety applications - from single machines to full production lines.
Smartscan recognises the difficult balance that customers have to make between meeting health and safety legislation requirements and managing their demanding production needs.
Working with large scale operations like Coca-Cola through to single machine guarding applications the company's safety solutions range are used in applications from cold stores to hot metal forging and abattoirs to high-tech manufacturing and processing lines.
