Smartscan's N series light curtain consists of two slim-line brushed aluminium, transmitter and receiver units, each with a profile of 33 x 29mm.
Smartscan's N series light curtains suit a range of nonsafety, industrial and commercial sensing applications.
The N series will replace Smartscan's current 9000 series range.
The system consists of two slim-line brushed aluminium, transmitter and receiver units, each with a profile of 33 x 29mm.
These multiple beam units are available in detection of heights between 150 and 1600mm.
The N series light curtains come with options for 30 and 45mm object detection capability and a scanning range between 0.5 and 10m.
The N series includes a flexible mounting bracket kit which allows easy installation and alignment.
The entire system comes with a full one-year manufacturer's warranty.
The N series is available with 3 and 10m cable lengths as standard and provides a flexible option of one PNP and one NPN output rated at 200mA.
The N series can be used in applications like parts detection, picking systems, profile checking, slack monitoring, machine protection, presence sensing, garment counting, product counting, airport baggage counting, goods lifts, automatic shutter doors, loading bays and many others.
