Smartscan offers a full range of cost-effective machine safety products, including safety light curtains, safety interlocks, safety relays, safety PLCs and accessories.
The T4 Series safety light curtain provides a Type 4 Category 4 option for high-risk machine applications like press brakes.
The 1000 Plus Series offers a range of low-cost safety light curtains for medium- to low-risk applications.
The 8000 Series is our dedicated inverted T and L-shape safety light barrier that provides pallet transfer guarding via its integrated muting, to address the special requirements for protecting the entry/exit points to dangerous machines like palletisers and stretch wrappers.
The Magsafe system of safety gate interlocks provides Category 4 interlocking via monitored electromagnets and high resistance to mechanical wear and the problems associated with mechanical fatigue.
Cost-effective safety PLCs provide options for seven dual safe inputs with four dual safe outputs, and 18 dual safe inputs with eight dual safe outputs.
Inductive loop controllers are for integration of our 8000 Series safety light barrier with inductive loop solutions at fork lift pallet load/unload stations.
Dedicated press brake controllers and a programmable step processor simplify and reduce costs on retro-fit safety devices for press brakes.
Low-cost safety relays have a range of functions to complement our safety light curtains.
A selection of practical accessories to aid installation and use of our machine safety products is also available, including adjustable and channel mounting stands, mirror systems, push button and key reset stations, LED beacons, power supplies and bespoke control boxes.
