Smith Flow Control has named BG Technical as its new Nigerian distributor.

Smith Flow Control has named BG Technical as its new Nigerian distributor.

A leading indigenous company, BG Technical specialises in pipeline and manifold maintenance and has successfully installed hundreds of valve interlocking devices throughout Nigeria.

The company, which has full operational bases in Port Harcourt and Warri, as well as an office in Houston, operates onshore, offshore and throughout the Delta region.

"Because of its expertise and extensive knowledge of the country, we believe BG Technical is the right company to increase our presence in Nigeria and the wider west African region", commented Mike Fynes, Smith Flow Control's Sales and Marketing Manager.

Smith Flow Control's interlocks ensure all valve-handling procedures are carried out in the correct sequence, reducing the chances of serious accidents due operator error.

The company's Easi-Drive and Flexi-Drive portable and remote valve actuators also help reduce the man-hours required to operate valves in hard to reach or hazardous locations.
