IALink from Sena Technologies is an industrial device server that enables Modbus-based serial devices to be connected to Ethernet.

IALink from Sena Technologies is an industrial device server that enables Modbus-based serial devices to be connected to Ethernet using industry standard Modbus/TCP protocol, for industrial automation.

Application areas include remote management of factory floor equipment, remote work program transfer for PLCs and robots and sensor data acquisition and monitoring.

The IALink: connects legacy serial devices to 10BaseT Ethernet networks; supports RS232/422/485 based serial devices via screw terminal block; transfers serial data at up to 115Kbit/s; supports multiple serial devices through RS422/485; and can be mounted on DIN-rail mounting rack.

Units come supplied with PPPoE protocol for ADSL connection to broadband Internet and support powerful Ethernet modem functions.

Security is provided through static key based 3DES data encryption.
