POSLink from Sena Technologies is an SSL-equipped serial-Ethernet convertor for leased-line based credit card payment terminals connected to broadband Internet Application areas include automation of retail/POS/kiosk/ATM systems and monitoring from remote places

The POSLink: connects legacy credit-card payment terminals to 10BaseT Ethernet network; transfers transaction data via TCP/IP; has a serial data transfer rate up to 19200bit/s; supports PPPoE protocol for DSL connection to broadband network; has a reliable TCP/IP protocol stack; provides serial communication with the payment terminal via RJ11 connector; and supports configuration via telnet or serial port.

Security is provided through SSL for transaction data encryption.
