The HelloDevice Pro Series from Sena Technologies is a versatile serial to Ethernet device server to manage RS232/422/485 based serial devices from remote areas.

The HelloDevice Pro Series from Sena Technologies is a versatile serial to Ethernet device server to manage RS232/422/485 based serial devices from remote areas.

Application areas include remote monitoring and management of RS232/422/485 based serial devices and providing embedded Internet solutions.

The HelloDevice Pro Series connects legacy serial devices to 10BaseT Ethernet networks, supports RS232/422/485 based serial devices via its DB9 serial port and handles serial data transfer rate up to 115kbit/s.

The convertors have a reliable TCP/IP protocol stack, and can be configured via telnet or serial port.

Management software is provided for configuration and administration, and all units come supplied with PPPoE protocol for DSL connection to broadband networks.

Security is provided through static key based 3DES data encryption.

Benefits include: reducing network down-time; systematic management using database system; and reduced labour cost due to remote management.
