Recent high growth performance at global predictive maintenance systems specialist Sensonics has encouraged the company to make a number of key investment improvements including new workshop equipment and additional staff appointments.

New Managing Director, Russell King has made two senior appointments to cover both engineering and manufacturing activities.

Alan Riley, the new Technical Director is challenged with developing the next generation of products for the main market sector - the monitoring and protection of critical rotating plant.

The appointment of Richard McKee in the new position of Operations Manager will allow Sensonics to offer high levels of customer service and support, alongside increased throughput.

King stated: "We differentiate ourselves in the UK market through our turnkey solutions, therefore it is important that we have strong engineering and manufacturing competence".

"Customers not only want the latest technology for their vibration monitoring but also effective support of product which is over 10 years old - we do both".

"These are exciting times for us, a new laser welding facility has been installed for the manufacturing of our sensors and to help us with new product developments on the horizon".

"We believe that these investments will allow us to considerably strengthen our market position".
