Predictive Maintenance specialist Sensonics will release its new 20-page vibration transducer catalogue and display other detailed technical literature on Stand F9 at the Maintec exhibition.

Predictive Maintenance specialist Sensonics will release its new 20-page vibration transducer catalogue and display other detailed technical literature on Stand F9 at the Maintec exhibition.

The new brochure offers a wide range of solutions for a vast range of applications and environments including those suitable for slow rotating machinery (down to 0.1Hz or 6rev/min), high temperature (450C), underwater (IP68), hazardous area (ATEX) and radiation resistant to name but a few.

Visitors will be able to talk directly to sales engineers concerning the company's new SIL3 (IEC61508) overspeed protection system designed to deal with turbine and feed pump failures in the power generation industry.

The system has been designed in a compact 19in x 3U equipment rack of six modules, comprising three Sentry speed/overspeed monitor modules, a 2/3 voting module with trip defeat and half speed trip facilities and two power supply modules which together offer dual redundancy.

The modules, including the power supplies, are hot swappable.

Stand visitors will additionally be invited to check out Sensonics new SIL2 rated fan or centrifuge protection with DN2611 dual channel vibration protection monitor.

Ideal for centrifuge casing and bearing vibration monitoring, the system provides a relay interface for alarms and vibration transducer integrity.

Following its success at Maintec 2006, Sensonics will also again be demonstrating a rotating machine simulator that can demonstrate various rotating machinery fault conditions, whilst at the same time observing monitoring and trending instrumentation in action.
