The 4-20mA loop-powered module provides easy integration with either the local machine PLC or a plant-wide DCS.

The unit operates in conjunction with the Sensonics Senturian range of 8mm diameter proximity probes, offering a maximum measurement range of +/-1mm.

This extended range over similar products on the market provides further scope in application, particularly for the set-up and calibration of thrust-measurement systems, which can be restricted by float in the shaft and physical access to the target.

Providing an output current proportional to displacement, the DIN-rail mountable unit provides two miniature multi-turn potentiometers for the setting of the gain and zero-point parameters.

The DN8033 is also suitable for rod drop measurements and OEM applications, offering lower cost options to existing systems without sacrificing measurement accuracy.

The DN8032 offers similar functionality when measuring shaft vibration.
