Send Technology has a new micro GSM modem designed exclusively to fit into the Mitsubishi Alpha 2 miniPLC Drawing power from its host, the module has a built-in SIM card reader and flying antenna lead

The Alpha 2 has a vast array of control and logic functions including a GSM subset enabling incoming rings to be detected, remote programming and the sending of SMS messages including embedded variables.

By clever use of AS-i commands to control the modem, the AL2-GSM is the perfect partner, giving the machine or process the ability to send "live" data.

Transmissions can be either triggered by an event, time based or remotely requested just by a call.

The possible uses are endless: from maintenance requests based on hours run to process data alarms on thresholds being exceeded.
