Sorion Electronics has just completed a significant contract for dealer service tools for Bentley Motors Limited (Crewe).

This contract entailed the design and manufacture of a rugged but yet cost effective tool to allow the dealers to position door window glass on Bentley's new Continental GT after a door glass change without risking damage to the internal door trim containing the window switch pack.

Bentley dealers will be provided with the tool as part of their standard kit of tools from the factory.

Sorion engineers carefully analysed Bentley's requirements, developed a tool concept that covered all model derivatives and then came up with a solution that allowed the use of Sorion's rugged Duracon connector technology to be used in the OEM service sector.

Sorion offer extensive expertise in the development and manufacture of rugged industrial/vehicle connector solutions, this track record allowed Sorion to complete the contract in just six weeks.
