SigQC is a sophisticated yet easy to use software platform specifically designed for measuring, testing and analysing acoustic and vibration characteristics as part of the production process.
SigQC is a sophisticated yet easy to use software platform specifically designed for measuring, testing and analysing acoustic and vibration characteristics as part of the production process.
The system fully integrates with the production line PLCs to perform rapid "end of line" pass/fail testing automatically with no human intervention.
Applications include testing of bearings, motors, generators, compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, regulators, gears, transmissions, superchargers, brake rotors and alternators.
Analysis methods include a combination of time, frequency, narrowband, octave and order.
For consumer product testing where it is necessary to take the "voice of the customer" into account, integration of MTS sound quality metrics enables pass/fail checking based on psycho-acoustic metrics such as loudness, roughness and intelligibility.
A further advantage is the direct link which MTS metrics provide with the R and D test and development function in the carry-over of complex targets.
Applications in the automotive industry are too numerous to mention but examples are engines, powered seats, wiper motors, climate control systems, window lifters and door latches.
Sound and Vibration Technology represents both Signalysis and MTS NVD, providing sales, consulting, technology transfer, installation, commissioning, technical support and training.
