Manufacturing excellence in Cowes
In a step towards its aim of global leadership in high-end process automation, Yokogawa Electric has created a global MES solution centre at Yokogawa Marex at Cowes on the Isle of Wight (UK).
Visitors are met in reception and taken on a tour of the facilities.
The tour not only gives visitors the opportunity to see the various departments within SP but they also have the chance to meet the staff as they go round, as it is a normal working day for the majority of the workforce.
In the workshop a range of systems designed and manufactured by SP will be on display for visitors to see, however because of confidentiality clauses with many of our clients we may have some of the units we are working on under wraps.
If they wish, visitors are able to arrange a meeting with a member of the SP Technology staff to go over any enquiries or processes they wish to discuss.
These meetings take place away from the main area in a private setting.
Refreshments are available throughout the day with a buffet at lunchtime.
