Steinmeyer miniature precision screws are now available with diameters of 6 and 10mm.

These ball screws are available with the following pitches: 6 x 1.25, 6 x 1.27, 6 x 2, 6 x 3, 10 x 2, 10 x 4, and 10 x 6 mm.

Steinmeyer's line of miniature screws now includes seven diameters from an incredibly tiny 3 up to 16mm.

Other standard diameters are 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm.

All screws are equipped with ground ball nuts and available with or without preload.

By using Steinmeyer's internal ball deflector return system instead of external tubes, the nuts offer smooth low noise operation in a compact size.

The screws are manufactured from standard tool steel, hardened and then precision ground to meet ISO tolerances from T0 to T5.

Stainless-steel material is also available as an option.

And, just as for all large Steinmeyer ball screws, miniature screws are available in custom lengths with journals machined to a control drawing.

Applications for miniature ball screws include semiconductor production machines, inspection equipment, microscope stages, fibre-optic assembly mechanisms, medical devices, miniature robotics and analytical equipment.
