Acquisition boosts sensor range
Schurter has purchased the assets of the FN Sensor- und Elektrotechnik based in Neuss.
Schurter has purchased the assets of the FN Sensor- und Elektrotechnik based in Neuss The company manufactures a range of switches based on a patented optoelectronic switching system which has been widely proven in use in public transport applications
The takeover includes the patents in addition to the inventory and the standing clientele.
By taking over these optoelectronic switches, Schurter is aiming to boost its position in the sensor market.
