As an important part of the planned development of the business, Safety and Access is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Morris to the position of Chief Executive Officer.
As an important part of the planned development of the business, Safety and Access is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Morris to the position of Chief Executive Officer, part of a series of changes that will drive further business expansion and support concentrated customer service.
Safety and Access was in large part Mike's brainchild when the company was formed to offer independent scaffold inspection and training in 1991, and he now joins Rodney Meere (Chairman) and Ray Johnson (Managing Director) to form the most experienced senior management team in the industry.
Mike is an exceptional safety professional, with a track record including 24 years as Group Safety Executive at SGB Group both in the UK and overseas.
He has represented major construction companies on British Standards Committees, and has been a prime mover in the development of many Codes of Practice that form part of the framework of the international construction industry.
He has an excellent relationship with the UK regulatory authorities.
Commenting on the move, Rodney Meere said, "Mike Morris's appointment underlines our commitment to the British Access industry at a time of considerable change".
